Grace for the Humble

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. - (James 4:6)

How does this apply to the workplace? Plenty. How many times have you resisted your work or felt a conflict out of pride? Are there times where you feel like your work duties or your co-workers and colleagues are "beneath" you?

Remember that God's grace comes to you through humility: Putting the needs of others before your own and steering clear of the lure of pride in your everyday work. It's not about you... it's all about what God has given to you so that you may achieve His goals and His will in the workplace.

Be satisfied in knowing that your piece, (no matter how small or seemingly unimportant it is) is a part of a universal system architected by God Himself. Be humble and don't let pride overcome you to resist your duties at work. It is there that God's grace can be found.
